1. How to request deletion
You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be able to sign in. Send an email:
| To | rishav@zuuvy.in |
|---|---|
| Subject | Delete my account |
| Include | The app you use (HQ, Fleet, Warehouse or Partner), the mobile number or username on the account, and the name of the business you work for or buy from |
It is the quickest way for us to be sure it is you. If you cannot, we will verify another way — usually a one-time code to the mobile number on the account. We will not delete an account on the word of somebody we cannot identify, because a deletion request is also an excellent way to attack somebody.
We acknowledge within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
2. If your account was issued by an employer
Accounts in Zuuvy HQ, Fleet and Warehouse belong to businesses, and are issued to staff. If you have left, or are leaving, the usual and fastest route is to ask your employer's administrator to remove your account in the app.
You can still write to us directly, and we will act on it. Where an employer has a genuine legal reason to retain part of the record — attendance and payroll evidence, most often — we will delete your personal profile and tell you plainly what was kept and why. We will not quietly keep everything and call it deleted.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, username, mobile number and email address
- Your profile photograph
- Your password and any active sign-in sessions
- Your device push tokens, so notifications stop
- Attendance photographs and location history recorded by Zuuvy Fleet
- Any personal notes or preferences held against your profile
Deletion is permanent. There is no restore, and we cannot undo it later.
4. What is kept, and why
One category survives, and it is worth being exact about: financial records.
Invoices, orders, payments and stock movements are the subscribing business's books of account. Indian tax and company law requires those to be retained for up to eight years, and no request — yours or ours — overrides that.
What we do instead is separate them from you:
- Your name, phone number, email and photograph are removed from them
- The transaction survives as a numbered record with no identifying detail
- Nothing in our systems links it back to you
Backups are the other honest caveat. Deleted data can persist in encrypted backups for up to 35 days before they rotate out. Those backups are not used to serve the product; they exist only to recover from a disaster, and if one were ever restored, your deletion would be applied again.
5. If you only want it to stop, not to be deleted
Deletion is not always what somebody actually wants. Smaller options first:
- Stop the tracking. Revoke Location in Android's app settings. In Zuuvy Fleet, checking out ends recording for the day.
- Stop the notifications. Revoke Notifications, or turn them off in the app.
- Remove the contacts Zuuvy HQ wrote into your phone — they are all prefixed "Zuuvy · ", so they can be found and removed together.
- Remove your photograph from your profile screen, without touching anything else.
Uninstalling on its own deletes nothing on our side. It stops the app collecting anything new, which is not the same thing.
